Update April 2021:

A few days ago, messing around online, I stumbled upon the 1904 Picasso painting ‘Woman with Raven’.

I was really surprised because I made a collage painting about a woman with a raven in 2018 without having ever seen Picasso’s version.

The composition is almost identical, the table in front, the woman one elbows and even the raised right shoulder…. hmmm, right?

Jung would have a lot to say about the ‘Collective Subconscious’ on this topic.

If archetypes are ideas that we all share, then it appears a woman with a raven lives there somewhere…
